BLAZE-AID. SEPTEMBER 15, 2007

Three Somerset Street apartment buildings were destroyed by fire on August 16, 2007. It took 65 firefighters more than 10 hours to knock down the stubborn blaze.

On September 15th 2007, one month later, local Open Stage musicians will be holding a simultaneous Open Stage at 6 separate venues to help the 31 fire victims who lost their homes and possessions.

With the generous help of local businesses, the Somerset West Community Health Centre and the Hintonburg Economic Development Committee, this promises to be an Open Stage event like no other. Musicians from every part of the city will be making appearances throughout the day. Starting at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 15th, and to 7:00 PM. The music venues are:
